Fluctuating Mortgage Rates
Check the forecasts and everyone has a different opinion
as to what will occur with mortgage rates in the next few months. A common misconception that occurs is each time the federal reserve states they are lowering rates the general public does not realize this only means the short term rates and while the mortgage industry often sees a short trickle effect it is often limited to less than a day. The point is that interest rates remain at a all time low when they are 6% or below and now is a great time to buy a home when supply superceeds demand. As a buyer remember that each $1000.00 in purchase price at up to 6% fixed adds app. $10.00 a month to your payment when including your escrows and unlike the stock market your home is always a tax savings and shelter.

I hope this helps just one person who may be on the fence deciding to purchase move forward especially if they are currently renting. While we all wish we had a crystal ball there is no doubt home ownership is still the American Dream!
